Welcome
As a dancer and performing artist, storytelling is the heartbeat of my creative practice. My work across digital photography, mixed media, and performative art is rooted in the intention to capture truth — to freeze time and amplify the presence, beauty, and resilience of Black lives. I am most drawn to telling the stories of people of color, whose cultural contributions have shaped the world yet are too often overlooked, misrepresented, or erased.

Darryl Dwayne Walker is a multidimensional artist, actor, television correspondent, creative director, educator, and movement specialist originally from Norfolk, Virginia. His passion for performance and storytelling shines through in every medium he touches — from the stage and screen to the classroom and beyond.
Darryl is best known for his vibrant presence as an entertainment news correspondent on the television series Montage, which aired for three acclaimed seasons. He currently stars in the recurring role of Maurice Caldwell on the web series Talks With Myself, appearing from Season 3 through the current fifth season.
His journey began while earning a Bachelor of Fine Arts with a focus in fashion marketing — a time that launched his career as a dancer and performer. Touring opened doors to share the stage with R&B powerhouses including Mario, Monica, T.R.U, Carl Thomas, and Cheri Dennis.
Darryl’s stage presence has since graced the Off-Broadway production Cain and Able, alongside Grammy-winning artist Fred Hammond. Most recently, Darryl starred in the reinterpretation of George C. Wolfe’s Broadway play, The Colored Museum. As a choreographer and creative director, he has collaborated with industry greats such as Grammy-winning Atlantic Records recording artist Darrell “Tank” Babbs and Emmy-nominated actress Aunjanue Ellis (Lovecraft Country).
In film, Darryl expanded his artistry behind the scenes, leading wardrobe and costume design for the indie feature Incomplete. Whether in front of the camera or behind the curtain, Darryl Dwayne Walker continues to craft spaces where art, movement, and identity intersect — with heart, style, and vision.
